CBS News spin on Google's profits.

CBS News ran a story the other night about how Google has an operation in Ireland. The profits from there go the Netherlands. From there they go to an offshore bank in the Bahamas. CBS pointed out all the tax money the U.S. was missing because of this. And, yes, you guessed it. The Bahamas has no Corporate sales tax. You know Google isn't the only company doing this. I see things a bit differently than CBS News.

Instead of going to the Bahamas, what if those profits came back to, for example, Ohio? Would we have a huge need to immediately TAX those profits, like CBS thinks? Would it not be good enough if banks in Ohio just HAD THE MONEY? It might make a difference for private enterprise, no?

Look in your newspaper's Want Ads from, let's say, the 1960s. Compare it to the Want Ads from today. See any difference?

This election, and the 2012 election, are points of no return. Let's hope American voters, young and not so young, vote for a return to prosperity.
