I note a comment on Facebook that it's not the place to post "political drivel". He's right and I will no longer do it. But, it describes a mentality in America that is dangerous and is exactly why this nation is in the critical stage.
Except for few exceptions, average American political knowledge has been "off the shelf" politics. YOu know, "I'm a Democrat" or "I'm a Republican" or whatever. It's convenient, just like off the shelf religion. And the prevailing attitude has been "I don't like to talk politics" or it's "political drivel."
Oh yes, Americans are becoming engaged as they see the socialist agenda being forced on them. They don't like it and they are not believing what they hear coming out of the White House. But, don't talk to me about it, it's "political drivel."
Sad, sad, sad. Some Americans still aren't paying attention.
